I was saddened to read in the Daily Telegraph yesterday (28 December 2019) of the death of Helen Giachardi (nee Fraser). I remember her as a very pleasant Upper IV on my dinner table when I was in the Sixth Form in 1962 and she subsequently became Deputy Head Girl, along with Elizabeth Christie, in 1965-1966. She was a member of the Old Girls’ Association, contributing regularly to the Newsletter, of which I was Editor from 1972 until the Association in its then form was wound up in 2008. Nicola Marlow
