Barbara Joyce Owen (nee Gravestock), MBE, sadly passed away after a short illness on 23 December 2019, aged 98.  She had led a full and active life to the last.   A former Head Girl of the School, Barbara was a loyal member of the Old Grammarians' Association in its previous form and Secretary for the 1930-1939 group of leavers for the Newsletter for many years.  She was a major figure in the Rickmansworth community, being awarded the MBE for her services to the heritage of the town and the Three Rivers District in 2012.  The church was packed for the Service of Thanksgiving for her life.
