THE LAW IS CHANGING – DON’T MISS OUT!

As you may have read in recent issues of the newsletter, the Data Protection laws are changing. Even as a registered member of the OGA we will need your permission to contact you after the changes come into effect.

WE ALREADY HAVE YOUR DETAILS, SO WHY DO YOU NEED TO OPT-IN?
When you registered on the site you gave us permission to store your data. The new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) stipulates that we must have your explicit permission for HOW and WHY we may use that data to contact you. You can only give this permission by opting-in. In the near future you will only hear from us if you opt-in, for example, even if you currently receive our email newsletter but you don’t now opt-in to receive the newsletter and opt-in to receive emails we will not be able to email it to you.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
If you haven’t done so already you can opt-in to the ‘hows’ and ‘whys’ by following the steps below.
If you have already opted-in to your preferences you may wish to take this opportunity to review them.

Access your settings via the menu on the left on the home page or by hovering over your profile picture in the top-right corner

Go to MY SETTINGS – scroll down to - CONSENT OPTIONS - click on the pencil - opt-in to your selected preferences – SAVE

You can follow the above instructions to change your preferences at any time.
