COMMONWEALTH DAY SERVICE 2019

Rabbi Debbie Young-Somers (Class of 1998) at the Commonwealth Day Service 2019

Former WGGS student Debbie Young-Somers participated in the Commonwelath Day Service held at Westminster Abbey on March 13th 2019.
The service was broadcast by the BBC with the Queen and other members of the royal  family in attendance, alongside the Prime Minister.

Rabbi Debbie represented Reform Judaism as she read out a prayer entitled Peace and Reconciliation within the Commonwealth.
